Export or delete your data
SAGE treats your shop data as yours to leave with, whenever you want. Export pulls down a full copy. Delete removes it from SAGE's systems on a rolling schedule.
Export everything
Open your dashboard, go to Settings → Export my data. SAGE builds a ZIP containing:
- Your store profile and settings.
- Every customer record you've imported (with tags and segments).
- Every campaign draft and send record, including who got which send.
- Every snap-first upload and the drafts generated from it.
- Your connection metadata (which providers are linked, when, at what scope — but never the tokens themselves).
- Your plan and billing history on the SAGE side. Stripe invoices live in the billing portal.
The export endpoint is rate-limited to one request per day per shop. The download link is scoped to your session and expires quickly.
Delete your account
From Settings → Close shop → Delete all data. SAGE sends you a confirmation email because account deletion is irreversible and we don't want accidental clicks to erase a year of work. Click the link in that email, and SAGE starts the deletion.
What gets deleted: your store profile, every customer record, every connection token (so SAGE loses the ability to call Shopify/Mailchimp/etc. on your behalf — you can revoke from those providers too), every uploaded photo and generated text card, every campaign draft, and your plan usage history.
What's retained: hashed, non-identifying platform-level analytics (event counts with no way to trace back to your shop) and the 90-day rolling copies of campaigns you actually sent, retained for abuse-audit purposes and then also deleted.
If you're on a paid plan
Cancel your subscription in the Stripe billing portal first. Deleting the SAGE account while still subscribed will still stop recurring charges via the webhook, but starting with a clean cancel avoids any surprise on your next billing statement.
